I have a raspberry seed blend from Primal life called "Lickety Split" for when I'm outside, use coconut oil regularly to wash my face and as a body moisturizer and take a healthy amount of high anti-oxidant "MasterNutrition" that is becoming available with HCS soon. I've always had great skin and it's still in great shape but if I had been doing this all my life it would be in even better shape. I wish i knew this stuff decades ago.
Thank you Teri Lynn, for always putting your best foot forward with your wealth of health knowledge, for Human Consciousness Support! You did wonderful research with the write up on this topic. It is important to do the little things, everyone can benefit with this information.

You deduce this article to entertaining? Are you aware that 99% of sunscreen users do not know they are baking chemicals into their skin and the skin of their infants? Are you aware that those same folks dont know that there are great alternatives if they choose to use something nourishing on their skin so they don’t burn to a crisp and actually cause damage short and long term? Are you aware that some people must work outside and cant completely cover their skin? Are you aware that making better choices involves steps in the right direction since new information has to be digested and accepted first? Are you aware there are plenty of tools along the way to support a persons awakening to new ideas that help them to keep on that path upwards? Are you aware that this is our goal?
Yup, controlled sun exposure is necessary for good health. Sun is not the enemy but as with anything it needs to be understood and respected. Again, Richard, this was not a book but an article on a tiny fraction of a topic…and you missed it. This article was based on the idea you actually brought forth that “Yes, we need to exercise caution in avoiding too much exposure at the wrong times of the day”. If I go hiking in AZ for 3 hours and I dont want to go at 5am i need sunscreen if I don’t want to burn. Its better for me to get that hike in with a natural sunscreen along with my wide brimmed hat. There’s also some of us who would like to have taunt, discoloration free skin for as long as possible and for those times when you cant avoid the sun for just the right amount of time at just the right time of day will do better to use something nourishing from nature. Truth is, if we’re super healthy, which doesn’t happen overnight if we’re rebuilding that, we rarely burn. And natural oils have natural sunscreen along with many other benefits in the meantime. We need to be mindful where we are as a collective and meet most where they are at.
Our articles offer practical advice based on science and evidence to speak to the most folks and direct them in a better direction. A purist view is good to consider and mention but at the end of the day won’t be practical. We do accept guest articles, Richard. Seems like your dying to write one for us since your view is superior. and you have a lot of criticism with how we couch things. When you write it, remember your audience and write in such a way so as to reach them with practicality and a subject that will have as high an open rate as possible. Because after all, we don’t want to be talking to a wall, we want the average person from our audience to take something away they can use. I look forward to your submission!

Hello Alison,
Other suggestions beside coconut oil are;
Red raspberry seed oil - https://www.primallifeorganics.com/products/lickity-split-face-serum-1-oz?_pos=7&_sid=4b196d01b&_ss=r
Carrot seed oil
Avocado oil
Non-nano zinc oxide
Thank you !
For many years I would use coconut oil🥥 The past two years I use Avocado oil because I learned it has a higher spf.
Thank you for sharing what works for you!
Good to know Avocado oil gives more protection.
